	CAS


Este es un proyecto de arte y ecología realizado en el CEIP Federico García Lorca (Valencia) con alumnado de 2º de Primaria, en colaboración con la ONG Justicia Alimentaria. Está centrado en la importancia de evitar el desperdicio alimentario tomando conciencia del papel que juega la estética de las frutas y verduras en nuestros hábitos de consumo. Cuestionando los cánones estéticos en la industria alimentaria y poniendo en valor la diversidad que existe en frutas y verduras “no normativas”, elaboramos una instalación artística con cajas de cartón que se ha expuesto en la Facultat de Magisteri de la Universitat de València. 
Cada caja lleva frutas y verduras 

 con imperfecciones estéticas&#38;nbsp;dibujadas por el alumnado, así como palabras clave y eslógans sobre desperdicio alimentario con el objetivo de sensibilizar al estudiantado universitario, y en particular al tercer curso del Grado en Maestro/a de Eduación Primaria de la asignatura de Propuestas didácticas en Ciencias y Matemáticas. La intervención comprende también unos folletos en los que se proponen diferentes juegos y actividades educativas fácilmente replicables que se pueden desarrollar con las cajas y otros materiales sencillos,&#38;nbsp; proporcionando así un recurso didáctico para el futuro profesorado.

This is an art and ecology project carried out at CEIP Federico García Lorca (Valencia) with pupils in the 2nd year of primary school, in collaboration with the NGO Justicia Alimentaria. It focuses on the importance of preventing food waste by reflecting on the role that the appearance of fruits and vegetables plays in this issue. Questioning the aesthetic canons in the food industry and placing value on the diversity that exists in “non-normative” fruits and vegetables, we produced an artistic installation with cardboard boxes that were displayed in the hall of the Faculty of Pedagogy at Universitat de València.
 
Each box has aesthetically imperfect fruits and vegetables drawn on it by the children, as well as keywords and slogans about food waste with the aim of increasing awareness among university students, and in particular among Primary Education students attending the course of Didactic Strategies for Science and Mathematics. 
The intervention also includes booklets describing different and easily replicable educational games and activities that can be developed using the boxes and other simple materials, thus providing a teaching resource for future primary school teachers.

	CAS

Agroversitat es un laboratorio de arte, agroecología y pedagogías críticas. El proyecto busca ac tivar
procesos de aprendizaje colectivos e intergeneracionales relacionados
con temáticas como los usos de la tierra, la soberanía alimentaria y la crisis climática. Surge
en el ecosistema de l’Horta valenciana, con la intención de visibilizar y
valorizar sus saberes situados, históricamente marginados frente a la cultura
urbana y desarrollista.
 
La iniciativa&#38;nbsp; también pretende contribuir a
descentralizar la práctica artística reivindicando el entorno rural como locus de producción cultural y creatividad. El proyecto surge de la colaboración
plurianual con diferentes agentes locales buscando así enraizar la práctica
artística en el territorio y generar redes de cooperación a largo plazo. Las actividades propuestas (seminarios, talleres, recorridos experienciales, etc.) tienen un carácter transdisciplinar y son abiertas y gratuitas, fomentando una visión más horizontal y
democrática de la producción cultural.Colaboraciones:

Agroversitat is an art, agroecology and critical 
pedagogies collaboratory. The project seeks to activate collective and 
intergenerational learning processes related to issues such as land use, food sovereignty and the climate crisis. It arises in the ecosystem of the Valencian huerta,
 with the intention of revitalizing its situated 
knowledge, historically marginalised in favour of urban and 
growth-oriented culture. 

The initiative also aims to contribute to decentralise artistic practice by reclaiming the rural environment as a locus of cultural production and creativity. The project arises from the multi-annual collaboration with different 
local agents, thus seeking to root artistic practice in the territory 
and generate long-term cooperation networks. This initiative is based on
 values of care for human relations and the more-than-human world. The proposed activities (seminars, workshops, experiential walks, etc.) 
have a transdisciplinary character and are open and free of charge, 
fostering a more horizontal and democratic approach to cultural 
production.

Esta instalación de arte público pública pretende contribuir a revitalizar el conocimiento encarnado y situado de l'Horta valenciana en respuesta a su invisibilización epistémica en el contexto académico. En su dimensión iconográfica, la obra remite a los imaginarios del trabajo manual y de las herramientas rurales como materializaciones de la relación entre el cuerpo individual, el cuerpo social y  el entorno, así como una respuesta a problemas y retos contextuales. La obra se construye mediante la superposición de imágenes de archivo realizadas mediante serigrafía, sublimación y bordado. La instalación se nutre de un proceso experimental centrado en técnicas de estampación, que se basa en el uso de pigmentos locales y naturales.

This public art installation seeks to contribute to revitalising the embodied and situated knowledge of the Valencian Horta in response to its epistemic invisibilisation in the academic context. In its iconographic dimension, the work refers to the imagery of manual labour and rural tools as materialisations of the relationship between the individual body and the social and 
environmental one, as well as a response to contextual problems and challenges. The piece is 
constructed through the layering of archival images made through screen printing, sublimation and embroidery. The installation is nourished by an experimental process centred on printmaking techniques, which is based on the use of local and natural pigments.

Este proyecto
proyecto, desarrollado en colaboración con el departamento de educación del museo IVAM se dirige a los niños t niñas del Barrio del Carmen (Valencia). La iniciativa incluye una amplia gama de actividades artísticas destinadas a crear empatía hacia las comunidades humanas y más que humanas que viven en el barrio para
inspirar procesos de cuidado hacia el medio ambiente. A través de técnicas de ecopedagogía, deep mapping y contracartografía, los y las participantes expresaron su propio punto de vista y activaron nuevos imaginarios para la vida urbana.

El proyecto se llevó a cabo
en colaboración con diferentes colectivos activos en la ciudad de Valencia (Hort de la Botja, Veïnat en perill d'extinció, Abella Negra, Falles Populars i Combatives, entre otros).

This
project, developed in collaboration with the education department of the IVAM
museum, is&#38;nbsp; addressed to children living in Barrio del Carmen (Valencia). The
initiative includes a wide range of art activities aimed at creating empathy
toward the human and more than human communities living in the neighborhood
to inspire processes of care for the environment.&#38;nbsp;Through ecopedagogy, deep mapping and countercartography techniques, children expressed their own perspective and activated new imaginaries for urban life.

	CAS

 Este proyecto fue seleccionado en el contexto del programa de residencias Resistències Artístiques, cuyo objetivo es promover la producción artística contemporánea en entornos educativos. La iniciativa gira en torno a la preservación de la biodiversidad cultivada en en relación con el sistema agrícola periurbano 
que rodea la ciudad de Valencia, también conocida como Horta.  


A través del aprendizaje experiencial y situado, al alumnado se familiarizó con conceptos como la agroecología, la biodiversidad y la soberanía alimentaria. Finalmente los y las estudiantes generarons un ecosistema de especies de ficción que se representó mediante una instalación inmersiva para mostrar la diversidad no solo como un valor ecológico, sino también como una red de múltiples visiones y relaciones de interdependencia.

Resistències Artístiques,&#38;nbsp;whose aim is to
promote contemporary art production in educational settings. The iniative revolves around&#38;nbsp; the preservation of cultivated biodiversity in
relation to the periurban horticulture system
surrounding the city of Valencia, also known as “Horta". 
Through experiential
and place-based learning, students became familiar with concepts such as
agroecology, biodiversity and food sovereignty. They finally created an
ecosystem of speculative species that was displayed through an immersive installation.&#38;nbsp; Here, diversity was presented here not only as an ecological value, but also as a network of interdependent visions and relationships. &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp;. &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp;&#38;nbsp;

La pandemia del Covid-19 nos obligó a frenar de manera abrupta los ritmos de consumo y de trabajo mostrando las múltiples vulnerabilidades de nuestro modelo civilizatorio y abriendo espacios de posibilidad que creíamos perdidos. Frente a esta situación inédita, este proyecto nos ayudó a formular algunas proguntas: ¿qué desigualdades ha expuesto esta pandemia? ¿a qué “normalidad” queremos volver?, ¿qué pasaría si pusiéramos en cuarentena los preceptos del capitalismo neoliberal?, ¿cómo podemos concebir y celebrar otras propuestas de futuro en un estado de emergencia sanitaria?, ¿de qué manera podemos ocupar creativamente las calles liberadas de los coches?, ¿cómo proteger el silencio y el aire limpio reconquistados?

Totesalcarrer es un proyecto artístico que busca generar una reflexión sobre la crisis ecosocial actual tomando la llamada “normalidad” como un arriesgado espejismo. A partir de estos y otros interrogantes, proponemos un proceso de reapropiación de espacios comunes que busque nuevas fórmulas de interacción en tiempos de distanciamiento.

	ENGThe Covid-19 pandemic forced us to abruptly stop the rhythms of consumption and work, showing the multiple vulnerabilities of our civilizational model and opening spaces of possibility that we thought were lost. Faced with this unprecedented situation, this project helped us formulate some questions: what inequalities has this pandemic exposed? What “normality” do we want to return to? What would happen if we quarantined the precepts of neoliberal capitalism? How can we conceive and celebrate other proposals for the future in a state of health emergency? How can we creatively occupy the streets freed from cars? How to protect the reconquered silence and clean air?

Totesalcarrer is an artistic project that seeks to generate a reflection on the current ecosocial crisis, taking the so-called “normality” as a risky mirage.
